### Outcomes vs OKRs **OKR** is comprised of an objective and key results. - **Objective** is a qualitative statement that should inspire you and/or your team. - Subjective - Inspirational and visionary - **Key results** are quantitative measures that might indicate you’ve reached that objective. - Measurable and quantifiable. **Outcome** is the result of some actions. - Outcomes focus on value creation. - Outcome comprises of Objective and Key Results (OKRs) - Business outcomes measure the health of the business. - Product outcomes measure a change in customer behavior. Product teams don’t typically have direct influence over business metrics like increasing revenue, but can influence product outcomes that eventually affect business metrics.
