Peer feedback I worked with Saurabh in a limited basis before he transferred out of Precision however what I did experience and observed is that Saurabh is a great example of a Dell employee meeting the Culture Code standards and living out an 'at cause' attitude. Demonstrated Strengths: Proactive, at-cause attitude. He owns his work and is diligent about keep everything working smoothly Not afraid to ask question - critical in a new role but especially in a space that combines marketing, sales, product, etc all in one. Never know enough but good to know that! Ramping up quickly and want to win together - clear he is living the Dell culture code and wants to partner to improve our offering / experience. He has been approachable and willing to both share when he has the answer and admit when he does not/is wrong. Saurabh would devote significant portions of his own time towards building out a solution to a problem that was outside of his normal 'job' - highly effective and helpful attitude on the team Areas for continued growth Continue to build on his 'soft-skills' - how to present ideas simply and clearly, particularly when complex or highly technical. Taking a step back and asking the 'so what' more often in his work or when a situation is not a straight forward process to complete In our work together on the Precision Fixed Workstation team, I have seen Saurabh grow from a high-potential junior product manager to an immensely talented senior product manager. He has a natural tendency to volunteer for leadership opportunities for his teams. He has proven himself to be a reliable, self-driven, and insightful teammate. Among his strengths, his ability to navigate complexity in both product domain knowledge & getting the most out of Dell process constraints stand out to me. I have no doubt that his talent as a hardware PM will translate into the digital PM domain as well. I'm excited to see where his career transition into Dell IT Product Mgmt. takes him. I had the opportunity to work with Saurabh on Precision workstation Raiatea & Rota, where I was the PM. He is very unique in his communication style as he creates a lot of graphs and data analysis to convey to the core team on business performance and justifications on adding feature sets. This kind of method is effective in engaging other core team functions and driving business impact strategy. He is also logically and demonstrates strong problem solving capabilities. It has been a pleasure to work with him in the past and best of luck to him in the new role. Jayanth: You are showing a lot of passion, but we don’t necessarily have to be perfect Things will be unfair many times, so put your requests in a nicer manner Under leader’s priority - e.g. OMOD Be transparent that we have dev work or not and align with clients Grooming calls can happen better to have PMs bring their questions. Think about having excel tracker to maintain progress and status.
